Our vets will give your kitten a thorough health examination, in order to ensure that your kitten is fit and healthy for vaccinating. This examination will also include checks for problems such as undescended testicles, and umbilical hernias. This appointment is a perfect time for you to ask any questions you may have about your kitten’s health and wellbeing, such as diet recommendations, dental hygiene, and neutering options.
Our vets will advise the best preventative flea/tick and worm prevention for your kitten. Flea treatments generally come in spot-on preparations, the first dose provided is complimentary and can be applied by the vet at your kittens first vaccination.
Free Microchip Implantation and Registration
We believe that Microchipping is vital to protect the health and wellbeing of your cat, as it greatly increases the chances of reuniting your cat with you should they go missing. Microchipping is usually done at the time of neutering, after neutering is usually when your kitten ventures outside on their own or the first time. Microchipping is particularly important if your cat has become injured after getting lost. We register our microchips with the largest microchip database in the UK.

Kitten Vaccination 2
The second vaccination that your kitten will receive takes place 3 weeks after the first. This injection completes your kitten’s first year of protection against the illnesses named above. 10 days after this injection, your kitten will be fully protected.
Full Veterinary Health Examination
Your vet will again give your kitten a full clinical exam at your second vaccination appointment. This allows us to check for any developments since the first vaccination. It is also a good time for you to have any questions answered that may have come to mind in the intervening weeks.
